Sønderborg Fire and Rescue is running on ISM
The new control room is organised around ISM, as their new platform for receiving and managing fire and burglar alarms, emergency calls and dispatch of personnel and vehicles.
Sønderborg Fire and Rescue has chosen to build its own control room, after having outsourced alarm reception and handling to the neighbouring fire department for many years. The new shared control room is built around Innovative Security Manager™ as a new platform for receiving fire and burglar alarms, emergency calls and dispatch of personnel and vehicles.
Sønderborg Brand & Rescue is responsible for both preventive and operational efforts, including the municipality's risk management and insurance department, as well as the control room and the performing part of the parking control south.
The control room is described locally as Denmark's most beautifully located at the Sønderborg's harbor, only 1'5 meters from the water and overlooking both Sønderborg Castle and King Christian X bridge. The control room started operating on 5 April, and the start-up with reception of own alarms went smoothly.
