Correct positioning of vehicles directly through the Danish Safety Network (known as “SINE”)* is vital to modern Public Emergency Services. Innovative Security Manager™ (ISM) ensures this through our new module, interCDT.
interCDT enables integration between ISM and the Danish Emergency Management Communications Network (known as “CDT”). interCDT ensures that positions and messages from vehicles are received at the Alarm Receiving Centres – even at those ARCs without an Integrated Control and Command System (ICCS).
All vehicles are – via their TETRA radios – positioned through SINE, which stores the locations centrally in SINE’s MotoLocator database.
interCDT forms the basis of cooperation on dispatch
The Public Emergency Service in question has the right to view data of their own vehicles and with interCDT all positions are displayed in real time in Innovative Security Manager™. This allows Public Emergency Services to share the overview between each other, which can form the basis of cooperation for dispatch.
interCDT can also receive “real” SINE status messages, which are automatically logged at the Alarm Receiving Centre. This appears regardless of the type of mobile app the vehicle has, as it is the SINE radio in the vehicle, which transmits this status.
All status messages are logged on the vehicle and subsequently used as the basis for the final reporting from ISM to the relevant authorities.

*Centre of Emergency Communication (CFB) is part of the Danish National Police with the main responsibility to secure operation and development of the Danish emergency radio network, called SINE (Safety Network). SINE is a digital radio network based on the TETRA standard. The radio network is used by all Danish emergency services dealing with public order, safety and health.
