Burglar alarms Burglar
alarms trigger an instruction presenting information about watchmen, the police,
contact persons, etc., to the alarm operator. The instruction can be designed
so that one instruction is followed during opening hours and another instruction
is followed outside opening hours. Arm/disarm
signals interVIEW is able to monitor whether arm/disarm signals are received
within the pre-defined time interval. When everything works as planned, the signals
will only be logged in the system. If an arm signal is not received within the
pre-defined time, the system will generate an alarm to indicate the missing signal.
If arm/disarm signals are received outside the pre-defined interval, the system
can generate an alarm to indicate the unexpected arm/disarm signal. Test
signals interVIEW supports regular test signals being received from the
customer's equipment, e.g. once a day. Expected test signals are logged in the
system and if the signals are not received, interVIEW will generate an alarm. Panic
alarms A panic alarm is an alarm type of special attention. The alarm
often triggers an independent instruction and interVIEW allows this alarm to be
given high priority. For instance, a panic alarm can also activate a sound, thereby
ensuring awareness that a panic alarm has been generated. Technical
alarms Technical alarms are prioritised individually. Power failure,
battery alarms, error alarms or temperature alarms can all trigger a specific
instruction. Some signals may only have to be logged, while others are to send
an SMS message automatically. It is possible to attach installer data in connection
with errors in customer systems, etc. It is also possible to define a delay
for an alarm, so that the alarm is generated five minutes later if no restore
signals are received in the meantime. Fire
alarms Calling out the fire brigade, opening gates, presenting the alarm
on the garage screen, registration of personnel at the alarm receiving centre,
registration of status information from vehicles - departure, arrival, home.
These are some of the functions that can be executed when a fire alarm is received
and handled. The instruction for a fire alarm may be a combination of automatic
functions that are executed by the system and a number of manual functions that
are executed by the operator if human assessment is required. Distress
alarms and Elevator alarms Distress and elevator alarms are characterised
by having to be combined with a call from the event location. interVIEW supports
different functions for recording the call and hanging up.
