Alarm112
is an emergency alarm system that ensures quick, precise and safe alarm handling
of emergency calls.
When an emergency call is received, the alarm operator
will see the caller's identity and location visualized on a map. The operator
adds information about the emergency situation and presses a single key to send
the alarm to the emergency services responsible. A receipt is sent back confirming
that the transmission was successful and that the situation will be taken care
of.
The operator can continue talking with the caller and thus obtain
more information to ensure the best effort possible. These data are electronically
forwarded to the emergency services, which have already been alerted and are on
their way to the place of emergency.
Alarm112 enables the operator to
focus on the event description while at the same time ensuring that the alarm
is handled effectively by the emergency services responsible. The result is improved
support of the caller and reduced response time.
Alarm112 uses data from
the telephone directory, digital road-map databases and predefined action areas
as a basis to ensure optimum alarm handling.
Alarm112 is the alarm system
of choice of all emergency call centers in Denmark, including the Great Belt Link

Østjylland IBS
has in co-operation with the Danish Police force carried out a pilot project with
interVIEW-fleet for the alarm monitoring centre at Odense Police.
The Danish Police force has, after this successful pilot project, decided
to implement interVIEW-fleet nationwide in 1.000 patrol vehicles and all
