Emergency Call Centre - Alarm 112 (911)interVIEW forms the backbone of the Danish Emergency 112 network, providing round the clock safety for all 5.3 million inhabitants in Denmark.
When every second countsIn case of an emergency, time is critical. Consequently, our interVIEW 112 solution has been optimised to minimise alarm handling times. During an emergency call, interVIEW 112 automatically locates and displays the caller's address on our digital map (iV-map). The operator then provides additional information about the emergency and interVIEW 112 forwards the alarm to the relevant emergency agency. While the operator remains in contact with the caller, the relevant emergency agency receives the alarm and dispatches the relevant resources to the caller. Subsequent information can also be forwarded to the emergency agency.
Effective handlinging of emergency callsThe interVIEW 112 solution automatically collects information about the caller from the public telephone directory (including unlisted numbers), geographic databases, and predefined areas of interest. This way, the operator does not have to spend valuable time looking up addresses etc., but can simply focus on helping the caller and entering data into interVIEW. interVIEW then automatically forwards the alarm information to the relevant emergency agency, based on emergency type and geographic location. The result is improved caller handling and faster response times. interVIEW 112 is the preferred emergency handling system for all Emergency Centres in Denmark as well as the 18 km long Great Belt Bridge, which links the eastern and western parts of Denmark.
Watch a video about Alarm 112 and interVIEWThe video shows how the emergency call centre uses interVIEW to handle an emergency call. The emergency centre uses interVIEW to forward tasks to the police control room in the city of Odense. The video also shows how the police uses interVIEW to quickly handle the task as well as forwarding the task to the nearest police car. |
